About Me

Patrick C. Turner, RCP

Born in Texas and raised in the Seattle area, I have spent most of my professional life on the East Coast - in Washington, D.C., NY/CT, and now Rehoboth Beach, DE.

I came into recovery in 2009, feeling lost, frustrated, confused, and ashamed.  All my thinking and willpower had not been enough to keep me from being a victim of the power of alcohol and drugs.  Shame had kept me away from reaching out for help.

I had a moment of grace on April 24, 2009 after a particularly bad week.  With the help of loved ones, I entered an outpatient treatment program and began my journey back to joy and freedom.  It hasn't been easy; there have been missteps and "face plants" along the way.

I have been blessed to be able to share my experience, strength, and hope with others along this journey and have benefitted from the love and wisdom of those who went before me. As I continued to grow in my professional life, I also began to think about how I could give back in a new and different way.

Certified as a recovery coach early in 2020, I have found that new and different way.

If you are are struggling in your recovery, my services aim to introduce clarity and self-motivation.

If you are struggling in your sobriety, I hope to be able to offer hope, courage, and techniques to better manage the emotional stress of everyday life that often causes us to turn to drugs and alcohol.  I embrace 12-step programs, harm reduction programs, and other pathways of recovery.

More than anything, I hope to help you find your pathway to a life that is happy, joyous, and free!
